Critical Applications Require Repeatable, Standardized Testing

Written by Valutek | September 27, 2023

For organizations with critical cleanroom environments, relying on manufacturer-proprietary test methods to demonstrate product quality, performance, and characteristics does not ensure the test results are objective and, therefore, accurate.

That’s why Valutek only tests our products using repeatable, industry-standard test methods developed by TAPPI, IEST, ASTM, ESD, and other recognized standards organizations. We’ve written extensively about the value of repeatable, industry-standard test methods so it's no surprise that employing these test methods is one of the cornerstones of Valutek’s quality story.

Only repeatable, industry-standard test methods

The test methods we use to analyze the upper and lower limits of the particles and extractables in our products are not proprietary or ambiguous. They are published and industry-accepted standards.

Our customers can use these same published test methods to test our products if they have the equipment or an independent lab to verify our published values, or customers can request a Valutek Certificate of Analysis.

Certificates of Analysis for critical products

While many other manufacturers specify only the TPV (typical published value) for their cleanroom consumables, we go further for our most critical products and offer Certificates of Analysis on all gloves, wipers, and apparel. For the products you use in your most critical processes, relying on a manufacturer TPV is not a recommended practice for best outcomes.

The Valutek Certificate of Analysis provides lot-to-lot test data on the product’s physical properties and technical performance for that specific item. Lot-to-lot test data can be requested by phone or email to our Customer Service department or here. Once we receive the request, our goal is to deliver your Certificate of Analysis within 24 hours.

Quality is never outsourced

The Valutek commitment to quality includes dedicated resources — internal quality personnel at a quality lab using state-of-the-art equipment — for continuous product testing and data analysis. We don’t outsource our quality to contractors or third parties — the Valutek commitment keeps quality control and inspections in-house, with cleanroom product experts, as part of our process.

When preventing contamination of your process or product and protecting your people are top priorities, Valutek delivers. Our commitment to quality includes dedicated labs and personnel for product testing and data analysis, providing in-depth test data through our Certificates of Analysis.

Valutek teams are committed to consistently providing reliable and functionally superior products that easily meet your quality requirements for critical and controlled environments — and we have the test results to prove it.
